We shot a wedding!

On a typically hot yet still somehow perfect March day in Echuca, I had the honour of not only witnessing a special friend wed her long time love but share in their special day by photographing it.

The vibe of the day was relaxed and natural and I really wanted to photos to show this. Laid back bride Leanne’s only request was so sweet and simple, just one natural shot of Matt and I and I’ll be happy. This photo is my favourite and I think we brought Leanne’s wish to life. I wish my friends of lifetime of love and happily ever afters. Caitlin x

we have a studio!

After almost 12 months of ‘getting by’ on natural light we have finally made the jump and set up an in-house photography studio…

We love shooting for our online boutique clients www.loveforfashion.com.au on a regular basis and can finally work with them in our studio! The above shot was the shot of the day and I am more in love with it each time i look at it! Happy 1st Birthday to our wonderful clients Harper Hair Co. We are proud to have been working with Harper Hair Co. for about 18 months now on everything from their initial branding set-up, to their salon design and all their graphic design needs in-between!

Wow, we can’t believe how much time has passed since our last post! We have been so busy with such an awesome variety of projects we have finally caught a minute to share one of our most recent with you all! We were lucky enough to work with our lovely new client Yvette from Printed Soul Jewellery.

We designed and photographed her latest stock to create both wholesale and retail rangebooks for this up and coming brand. Rangebook design and Product shots photographed by us. Please note, the stunning model shots are courtesy/credit of Tiger Mist Boutique, a stockist of Printed Soul. The Printed Soul range is also available online at Love For Fashion, the online store we also just designed! x

Finishing off this busy week with a sneak peak of the new Playback Photography website we have been hard at work on. This design is super clean, modern and impressive with spectacular imagery being the feature design.

As Facebook and Instagram giveaways become increasingly popular we have been getting more and more requests to design competition graphics. Lush Skin & Body logo

Here is the new branding we crated for the beautiful Laura over at Lush Skin & Body. Her brief was quite free however Laura did want to see some florals and pinks within the logo. As you can see what we came up with ties into her request perfectly without falling into the ‘typical spa’ logo category. Lush Skin & Body will be opening in Doreen in mid 2013 and we cannot wait to share with you the shop signage design we are currently working on, watch this space!

HERE TIS’ We are so excited to finally be able to announce our brand new website is now live! Since making the leap from being an employed designer to launching Caitlin Joel Creative Designs as a full time studio in January 2013, we have been so overwhelmed with design work it’s taken us a little bit longer than anticipated to find some spare time to work on, and launch our own website, crazy we know!
